Founder's Welcome

President Barack Obama and Dennis Kennedy

Greetings,

It is my privilege to welcome you to our first ever National Training Week. This week coincides with the 2022 National Diversity & Leadership Conference. The theme is “Diversity First.” The training will take place from March 22-24.

With this training we want to focus on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging and its impact in the workplace. Leading professionals will host certification training on things like Allyship, Inclusive Leadership, Belongingness, and Anti-Racism. We also want this training to be a networking opportunity for professionals as they look to expand their knowledge and their horizons.

Partnering with the National Diversity & Leadership Conference has allowed our conference to grow exponentially, even in its infancy. The National Diversity & Leadership conference is the largest DEIB conference in the United States. There were over 3,500 at their last in-person conference in 2019 and over 1,000 attendees at each of our virtual conferences in 2020 and 2021. For 2022, they are expecting virtual attendance to reach over 6,000. Because of this our expected attendance in our first year is well over 1,500 people.

In closing, I want to say a big “THANK YOU” to our sponsors for their continued support. I also want to acknowledge our speakers, panelists, volunteers, and organizers who have worked diligently to bring this week to fruition. Without you all it wouldn’t be possible. We hope to leave a lasting impact on both companies and professionals, as we continuously strive for a truly inclusive society.

Sincerely,
Dennis Kennedy
